This crystals’ striations (fine parallel grooves and narrow bands) are the pathways for the illuminated substance of Spirit. Selenite vibrates more on the spiritual level than on the physical, and resides along the threshold between pure white light and physical matter. A powerful crystal for shifting through energy blocks, bringing peace and purity to one’s head and heart, and generally just aiding in that you stay protected and connected to the world around you.
A shimmering Selenite Athame with a protective and magical Pentacle. These beautiful Selenite Athames, also called knives or daggers are not used for cutting anything physically. They are a wonderful ceremonial tools for energy work, especially for releasing negative energy, cleansing, and channeling energy.
Crystal swords, knives or daggers can be used to release energy-related ties that no longer serve us through a practice called “cord cutting.” When we exchange energy with another person, there is a possibility that their energy can linger. Cords are created through thoughts, emotions, or overstepped boundaries, and sometimes we pick up energetic bonds with others that do not serve our highest good.
Cutting the cord helps us to cleanse ourselves of the unneeded energy we pick up. Remember, this practice isn’t meant to cut emotional ties, but for releasing energy ties. This is your energy, you are in charge of it!
This Large Selenite Athame is quite heavy and weights a bit over 1 pound. 10" long x 2" wide at the widest points and a over 1" thick. The Pentacle is 2" in diameter.
Selenite is a soft crystal stone and easily scratched, traditionally Athames are inscribed with the owners initials, this is a perfect stone to do this. Selenite is also very porous. Do not get wet, it will damage your Athame Sword.
