Description

Flidais Foltchaoin, (pronounced Flee-ish) is the Celtic goddess of the forest; the protector of flora and fauna. In mythology, she is connected to both wild and domestic animals.  In particular, deer and cattle are her sacred animals, both of whom she milks and feeds to armies. She calls all the wild animals “her cattle.” She rides a chariot drawn by deer. The trees are sacred to her as she is their protector.

Often the poor and outcast will seek her out when they need a safe harbor. Call on her when you feel out of balance as she represents the eternal cycles of growth and rebirth. She embodies both domestic and wild natures and helps to find balance within.
