Winter Hearth is a fragrance that carries the essence of a deep north woods winter, where the short, shut in days are softened by the warmth of the hearth. Sweet orange and bergamot blend with the comforting, spicy swirl of clove, lavender, and cinnamon, evoking the kitchen of my grandmother’s home. In those winters, when the snow piled high outside, she would use pantry staples and dried herbs from the summer past to create fragrant reminders of warmer days. The kitchen was always alive with the warmth of the wood cook stove,  with simmer pots pushed to the back to make room for pots for cooking lunch, while the scent of simmering spices filled the house.

It's the warmth of woolen blankets and socks, the softness of animal furs, and the deep layers of floor rugs and window curtains created a cocoon of comfort. Winter Hearth is that memory—a fragrance that brightens the darkest of days and brings the warmth of the hearth into your home.

The Inspiration

Inspired by my grandmother’s tradition of using pantry staples and dried herbs to brighten the long northern winters, Winter Hearth captures the essence of a warm kitchen filled with the scent of simmering spices, woolen blankets, and the comfort of home.
