The Inspiration
Every spring, our farm fills with the sweet, intoxicating scent of lilacs. We have several bushes, but my favorite is the lilac tree next to the centuries-old, hand-dug well. Its cap, a moss-covered fieldstone, has watched over generations, and in the spring, the lilac blooms beside it, filling the air with a fragrance so sweet and delicate, it’s impossible not to pause and breathe it in.
Lilacs are New Hampshire’s state flower, and they grow wild all around—along roadsides, in barnyards, and on old foundations. They don’t last long, but when they bloom, they fill the air with the essence of spring. For me, they’re more than just flowers—they’re a symbol of home, history, and the fleeting beauty of this time of year.
That’s why I wanted to share a little bit of that magic with you in our NH Lilacs Talc-Free Dusting Powder. It’s like carrying a bit of spring with you wherever you go, just like the lilac tree by the well.
