Resin Incense Burners

Resin incense burners typically use a charcoal disc to melt the the resin to release their scents. You can use a screen type burner specifically made for burning charcoal. Usually one will turn the screen concave side down, placed on top of the bowl. Then place the charcoal disc on top of that to burn, allowing the ash to collect in the bowl below. You can also add to any heat safe bowl a good layer of sand and set the charcoal on top of that.

These bowls also are cute for burning stick and cone incense as well.

Smudge Bowls

Smudge bowls are any heat safe bowl where herbs are smoldered either with or with out charcoal.
