Found on a bright Boston morning among the antique shops of Market Square — a clear crystal dish, its facets catching the light like morning frost on glass. Made in France by Cristal D’Arques – Durand, the Longchamp pattern has that simple, honest elegance that feels right at home again here in the stillroom. Brought back to the farmhouse and filled by hand, it now holds a new kind of keepsake — soft powder, lavender, and a quiet ritual restored.

A Stillroom Powder, Rooted in Memory

Inside this glass dish rests Lavender Dragée — a handmade body powder inspired by the fine perfumed powders of the early 1900s. Lavender and almond are folded together until they settle into a gentle, sugared calm. The scent is light and familiar, a reminder of linen closets, rose-paper drawers, and the soft air of an old bedroom at dawn.

Finely milled, talc-free, and made in small batches here at the farm, each jar carries that same feeling of careful work and quiet intention.
