Vintage J. & G. Meakin Floral Creamer – Sol Range – Heirloom Housewares Collection – Piece No. 2

From the pottery-rich region of Stoke-on-Trent, England, this vintage creamer from J. & G. Meakin’s Sol Range is a classic of mid-century farmhouse style. Produced between the late 1940s and early 1950s, it carries both cheerful color and old-world charm — with floral anemones in soft shades of pink, green, blue, and yellow blooming across its creamy glazed body.

The creamer features a fluted rim, delicate embossed dot pattern, and sweet floral detailing on the front, reverse, and even tucked beneath the pouring lip — a quiet sign of thoughtful design.

It bears a small chip on the foot and a hairline crack at the base of the handle — neither of which affect its display or functionality. In every other way, it is sound, vivid, and free of crazing. This piece feels as if it’s poured tea for generations — and is ready to be part of another.
