The first hint of winter arrives in the hush of balsam stands. Frosted needles catch the light, their resin bright and crisp against the quiet dark of the woods. Pressed Balsam gathers that brightness — balsam resin, amber warmth, and a breath of pipe tobacco — into a talc-free stillroom powder, both invigorating and grounding.

Hand-blended in our summer-kitchen apothecary, it’s finely milled for a silky finish and fragranced with a soft, close-to-you scent that lingers without overwhelming.

Ingredients

Talc-free. Cornstarch-free.
Organic arrowroot, kaolin & bentonite clays, premium fragrance oils and essential oils (balsam accord, amber resin, tobacco leaf). Gentle, breathable, and suitable for everyday use.

How to use

Dust lightly on clean, dry skin after bathing; refresh woolens and flannels before storing; tuck into boots after long walks. For deeper ritual, layer with Pressed Leaves or October Air to capture the hush of the season.

Keep cool and dry. As with any fragrance, patch test if sensitive. Store cards and envelope away from direct sunlight—archival inks last longest when loved gently.
