The Art of Natural Perfumery: How to Wear, Layer & Love Our Floral-Infused Perfume Oils

There’s something deeply personal about fragrance. It’s memory bottled up, a whisper of something familiar yet just out of reach. It lingers on linen, clings to the warmth of skin, and tells a story...your story.

With the launch of our Heritage Infusion Artisan Perfume Line, I wanted to create something that felt like home, nostalgia, and the wild, natural beauty of the earth all at once. Each bottle is a love letter to slow, intentional living, steeped in botanicals, rich in history, and meant to evolve with you throughout the day.

These perfumes aren’t just about smelling good—they’re about feeling something. Connection. Warmth. A touch of mystery. And, perhaps most excitingly, they’re designed for layering, allowing you to create a fragrance as unique as you are.

Why Botanical Perfume?

Unlike mass-produced synthetic fragrances, our botanical perfume oils are alive. They shift and change with your skin’s chemistry, warming into something uniquely yours. Each small batch is infused with real flowers, herbs, and natural essences, creating a scent experience that feels both old-world and deeply personal.

Because they’re oil-based, they wear close to the skin—never overpowering, just a soft, intimate aura that lingers throughout the day. They’re perfect for those who love a scent that feels natural, timeless, and personal.

How to Wear & Layer Our Floral-Infused Perfumes

One of my favorite things about this collection is how beautifully the scents blend together. Depending on the mood you want to create, you can wear them alone or mix them to add depth, contrast, or warmth.

A core necessity for everyday moments, Heritage Infusion Perfume Oil: Single Essence Lavender captures the soothing essence of lavender—herbaceous, floral, and healing. Infused with lavender spikes, seeds, and garden greenery for an authentic botanical experience.

Here’s how to make the most of your perfume ritual:

1. Start with a Base Scent

Your base is the foundation of your fragrance—the note that lingers longest. Choose something deep and grounding:

  • “Roots of Us” – Pure 1970s patchouli, earthy and rich. This is the scent of free-spirited adventure, deep nostalgia, and the grounding embrace of time. Perfect for those who love a deep, warm, and slightly mysterious base.

  • “The Old Armchair” – A tranquil mix of cedarwood, sage, and lavender, wrapped in moss and rose. It’s a scent that feels like an heirloom—something soft, worn, and comforting.

2. Add a Heart Note

This is where you can bring in a bit of romance, nostalgia, or brightness. These perfumes add floral softness or herbal freshness:

  • “Floral Infusion – Reverie” – Carrot seed, Moroccan rose, and antique oak. It’s delicate yet earthy, an old-world floral with a touch of farmhouse charm.

  • “Bumblebee Daydreams” – Ylang-ylang, lavender, and bergamot, evoking the warmth of sunlit afternoons and childhood summers. A little brighter, a little dreamier.

3. Finish with a Touch of Lightness or Spice

Top notes give your perfume that spark, that hint of brightness or intrigue.

  • “Heritage Infusion – Single Essence Lavender” – Pure, fresh, and herbaceous lavender. Adds a crisp, green floral touch to any blend.

  • “Wilderwood” – Dark patchouli, wild roses, and blood orange with a spiced clove bite. Adds intrigue, mystery, and a hint of forgotten stories.

My Favorite Layering Combos

Your Signature, Your Story

There’s no right or wrong way to wear fragrance. It should feel intuitive, like slipping on a favorite sweater or sinking into an old leather chair. Whether you wear these perfumes alone or blend them to create something all your own, they’re meant to tell your story in a way only you can.

So, which scent speaks to you? Which notes feel like home? Let me know in the comments, I love hearing how you wear them.

Take the road less traveled,
