A Winter find just in time
A tiny winter keepsake from the Stillroom trunk — one vintage glass tealight holder paired with a hand-poured bayberry candle from years past. Found wrapped in a red gift box with candy-cane paper, waiting quietly for the season to return.
Only 4 available — each sold individually.
The Story
These little tealight holders were once part of our own winter tradition here at the farmhouse. My children loved them — the blue and green glass catching the Christmas lights, the bayberry candle lit for good luck on the darkest evenings of December.
They were tucked away long ago in a red gift box lined with candy-cane paper, stored inside the old steamer trunk with all the “save for later” things. When unpacking for the Midwinter Archive this year, I found all four, wrapped and preserved just as I had left them, each with its own tiny bayberry tealight still tucked inside.
A small keepsake from those earlier stillroom days — meant to glow again in someone else’s winter home.

Field Note
Found in the winter trunk — four small glass tealight holders from the years when my children were little, each lit on Christmas Eve for good luck. Painted glass swirls, a soft bayberry patina, and the kind of simple holiday magic that stays with you. A keepsake rekindled.
