Vintage Wooden Tea Chest

This is a rare find from the early 60s! Made in Columbia, South America. A beautiful handmade tea box features flowers, nuts, seeds, and clover set in resin on the lid. Inside feature several compartments.

The bottom has the artist signature and a makers sticker. The sticker reads "albricias, que quier decir "regalo por buenas nofcias" es un producto hecho a mana, par tanto cada diseno es unica esta elabarato can madera, flores, sernillas y resina de alta resistencia" and roughly translates to "Albricias, which means "gift for good news" is a product made to mana, par both each design is unique this elabarato can wood, flowers, sernillas and resin of high resistance".

This appears to be solid maple and measures 15" long x 10.75" wide x 3" tall with the lid closed.

A beautiful tea box in exceptional vintage condition- no splits or discoloration in the wood. The epoxy on the top is in fine condition.
