How to Anoint A Candle

Here's how I do it...

If you are using a candle to draw things to you:

Put a couple of drops of your chosen ritual/anointing oil(s) on your fingertips. Rub it onto the candle from the bottom up to about halfway, then from the top to the center.

If you're sending things away from you:

Put a couple of drops of your chosen ritual/anointing oil(s) on your fingertips. Rub from the center to the top and then center to the bottom.

I usually set my candle in a holder and place it on a plate, then surround the candle with fresh or dried herbs, flowers, and crystals. After the candle has completely burned out I put the herbs and crystals in a bag and use it for a mojo bag.
